Is this t-shirt ethical?
As ethical as we can get. We have partnered with Scimitar to produce the shirts and chosen to pre-order, so we can reduce the environmental impact where we can

Is there a deadline?
February 26th. All pre-orders must be placed by then, so we can place our order on time and get them hopefully for Hackney (fingers crossed!) Anything placed after this date, (and if there is enough interest) will be placed in a future order.

If I don’t do the pre-order will I still get a shirt?
Probably not for a while. We don’t have a warehouse; this stuff is literally sitting around our living rooms. The last time we released a shirt it was 2023 and it’s now (checks watch) 2026! Whoah that happened quick! I guess we’re saying if there’s even the smallest chance, you’re going to feel disappointed at not having a shirt pre-order now or wait until 2029.

Am I still allowed to wear the old shirt?
No. They’re all being ceremonially burnt at Blondies Brewery on May 6th. Yup, of course you can still wear them!

Can I see a picture of the actual shirt?
No, they haven’t been made yet!

Last time you did a pre-order it took ages right?
Easy there you cheeky monkey. We’re aiming to have t-shirts for Hackney Half and we want to get these to you as quick as we can. Having support from industry experts (go team!) has meant we’ve been able to get a better idea of timings, minimums, and production requirements. Obviously, manufacture is still done through a third-party, but we are hoping for on time delivery and we will keep you as updated as we can, but hopefully we’ll be able to deliver to you by the beginning of May if it’s placed by the end of Feb.

When can I ask if the t-shirts have arrived yet?
May 6th. If you ask before that we’re kicking you out of the WhatsApp and you’ll be barred from every brewery in Hackney! We’re joking! Sort of. (Holds uncomfortable eye contact) Don’t test us though.

Will it make me run faster?
Sure. Let’s say … 8% faster.
